Tottenham are believed to be looking at Fulham’s young starlet Ryan Sessegnon as a potential replacement for unsettled full-back Danny Rose, the Telegraph say. Rose, who was left out by Mauricio Pochettino for the North London Derby expressed he was ‘fuming’ over Pochettino’s decision but insisted there was no falling out between both parties.

After recovering from a serious knee ligament injury, Rose has fallen behind the pecking order under Pochettino to Ben Davies, as it seems. The 27-year-old had previously criticised Tottenham’s wage policy in the summer and it looks like a winter move is definitely on the cards.

Ryan Sessegnon, 17, who this week became the first 17-year-old to score a hat-trick across all four divisions since Dele Alli, has been on Tottenham’s Radar for quite some time. The club had also made late enquires for the young left-back during the later stages of the summer transfer window and are believed to come back if Rose decides to leave.

There’s a lot of interest in Sessegnon from different clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool, United but Tottenham believe Pochettino’s ability to develop young English talent gives them the upper hand in signing the youngster.
