DONE DEALS: All The Completed Transfers So Far This Weekend

As the season approaches, a number of clubs are eyeing up a number of new players and will be looking to strengthen for the 17/18 season. The transfer window officially opened today, and here are the CONFIRMED transfers that haven taken place so far this weekend.

Official Transfers

  • Bournemouth have signed defender Nathan Aké for a club record fee of £20m from Premier League champions Chelsea.
  • Huddersfield Town have signed midfielder Aaron Mooy from Manchester City for a club record fee of £8m, which could rise to £10m.
  • Huddersfield Town have signed goalkeeper Jonas Lössl from Mainz on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
  • Barcelona have announced the signing of Gerard Deulofeu from Everton on a two-year deal, after Barcelona activated his buy-back clause.
  • Everton have announced that they have completed the signing of forward Henry Onyekuru from Belgian side Eupen for an undisclosed fee. (He will spend the 17/18 season on loan at Anderlecht)
  • Manchester City wing-back Ashley Smith-Brown has joined Hearts on loan until the end of the season.
  • Benfica have signed 19-year-old Chris Willock on a free transfer from Arsenal.
  • Southampton have signed Polish defender Jan Bednarek from Lech Poznan on a five-year contract.
  • Exeter’s Ethan Ampadu has signed for Chelsea and the two clubs are in negotiations over a fee.
  • Austria Under-21 goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann has joined Watford on a three-year deal, having spent the past six seasons at Stoke.
  • Chelsea have confirmed the signing of free agent Willy Caballero.
  • Barnsley have confirmed the capture of Crystal Palace left-back Zeki Fryers on a three-year deal.
  • Watford have signed right-back Kiko Femenia from Alaves on a four-year deal.

Contract Renewals 

  • Head coach David Wagner and his assistant, Christoph Buehler, have been rewarded for guiding Huddersfield Town to the Premier League with new contracts.
  • Tottenham full-back Kieran Trippier has agreed a new five-year contract, committing to the club until 2022.
  • Angelo Ogbonna has signed a new five-year contract with West Ham.
  • Jack Stephens has signed a new five-year-deal with Southampton.
  • Sam Gallagher has signed a new four-year deal with Southampton. The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Blackburn.
  • Stoke City have confirmed that Stephen Ireland has signed a six-month contract extension.
