José Mourinho Refuses To Rule Out Selling Henrikh Mkhitaryan In January

Manchester United boss José Mourinho has refused to give long-term assurances over Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s long-term future at the club.
Mkhitaryan, who has been out of favour on two occasions since arriving at the club in 2016, could be set to depart from the club in January with a number of clubs said to be interested.
Despite picking up five assists in United’s first three Premier League games, both performances and goal contributions have been a rarity for the Armenian this season. Despite later apologising, Mourinho hauled Mkhitaryan off at half-time in the 2-0 win against Derby after every poor pass was greeted with moans by the Old Trafford faithful.
Now, with rumours of Alexis Sánchez’s arrival, Mkhitaryan’s future has been placed in doubt with Mourinho refusing to admit otherwise.
“My approach to players is that every player has a price,” Mourinho told Sky Sports when questioned about the midfielder’s future.
“It doesn’t matter who he is. It doesn’t matter the level. It doesn’t matter the prestige, the status. I think every player has a price. And I am not the kind of blind manager, blind in the sense of, this player is untouchable, can never be sold. I think every player has a price.”
