Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku wants to move to Italy, just two seasons after joining from Everton, with Inter Milan set to be amongst the club’s interested in the Belgian.

Lukaku, who was targeted by Antonio Conte whilst the Italian was at Chelsea, is reportedly again wanted by Conte as Inter look set to appoint the former Juventus coach to replace Luciano Spalletti.

The 26-year-old striker has been open about wanting to play in Serie A later in his career, and after another disappointing year at Old Trafford, Lukaku switched agents from Mino Raiola, the man who organised a move to United, to Federico Pastorello.

Lukaku, having fallen out of favour with Ole Gunnar Solskjær, is open to swapping Manchester for Milan, according to the Manchester Evenings News.

In April, agent Pastorello revealed Lukaku’s dream of playing in multiple leagues, saying: “He sees a way to have a career playing in different countries because he would like to win some trophies and prove himself and say to his children: ‘I won there and I won there and I won there’ and ‘I was a very good player in all the top championships’.”

Should Lukaku leave, United will be faced with the decision to either pursue another centre-forward or place their trust in Marcus Rashford, which Solskjær has had no problems in doing so before. However, the 21-year-old only scored 10 goals in the Premier League this season, a number far below the required standard for a forward at a top club.

Swansea’s Daniel James is reportedly close to a move to the Red Devils in what looks set to be Ed Woodward’s first signing of what is expected to be a very busy summer for the CEO having come under intense scrutiny in recent years. Should another unsuccessful summer take place, it’s fair to say Woodward may be a dead man walking in the eyes of many of the Old Trafford faithful, if he wasn’t already.

  1. We wish him well in all his endeavours

  2. So sweet golpo. Plz amon vlo golpo basi basi post korbe for next time…..
