Manchester City youngster Jadon Sancho has been linked with a move to Arsenal recently after growing frustrated at his lack of chances in the first-team, which look to be reduced even more after Pep Guardiola’s summer spending spree.

The 17-year-old is regarded as one of England’s best prospects in his age group so interest from Arsenal and Tottenham is no surprise.

If the star’s recent social media post is anything to go by, a move to the Emirates Stadium may be a possibility  Sancho posted a video of himself scoring a very impressive goal against an Arsenal youth side from last season, one which Leicester City’s Demarai Gray likened with Neymar.

With all the press and media attention surrounding his current situation, the post could be a very big hint that he is moving to Arsenal. The tweet also caught the attention of his followers, who concluded that the post was a hint.

There is no confirmed report of a deal being agreed between the clubs, though there is a strong feeling that a move to Arsenal is Sancho’s most likely destination should he leave City.

Manchester City signed Sancho from Watford in 2015 for a reported £255,000. He has gone on to make 23 caps for England’s U16 and U17 sides. Sancho is highly rated in City’s ranks and was scheduled to take part in Manchester City’s preseason tour but a breakdown in contract talks have seen the winger spending the summer at the Etihad campus, a key reason behind his motive for a move away from Manchester. Sancho was voted the best player in the recent 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, showcasing his talent on the biggest stage.
