Huddersfield Town Liverpool News Transfer Rumours

According to a variety of sources, Huddersfield Town are looking to convince Merseyside club, Liverpool, to allow them to permanently sign goalkeeper Danny Ward for a fee in the region of £8 million.

However, despite this push for the goalkeeper, the same sources are indicating that the club has blocked any incoming bid for the Welshman.

The news could well demonstrate that Danny Ward could very well be in manager Jürgen Klopp’s plans for the new season as they prepare for life in the Champions League once again.

The goalkeeper was a key figure for the Terriers during their unfancied journey through the Championship season and eventual promotion to the Premier League. However, now that their interest has been blocked by Liverpool, it is expected that the newly-promoted side will be on the lookout for a new first team goalkeeper.
