Tottenham v Arsenal (Saturday, 12.30pm)

When there’s a Derby match at the weekend, the cliche “form goes out the window” often does the rounds between fans. So there’s really not much point in me putting stats forward on this one. Spurs have been on an upward trajectory for a while now but despite this, I fancy an Arsenal win. They were rampant against Everton and they love playing at Wembley. I’m going with my gut on this one.
Luke predicts: 1-2

Everton v Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3pm)

Everton were absolutely shambolic against Arsenal and in truth, it could have been 10. How has Cuco Martina managed to blag his way into a Premier League club? His agent must be Harvey Specter. Palace relies heavily on Wilfried Zaha and he’s out for around a month so I can only see Allardyce getting one over on his former club.
Luke predicts: 2-0

Stoke City v Brighton and Hove Albion (Saturday, 3pm)

Stoke vs Brighton is the fixture on Super 6 that almost everybody predicts a draw because they couldn’t care less. Stoke don’t score a lot and concede a lot whereas Brighton don’t score a lot and don’t concede a lot. I do really like Pascal Groß though, I really do think he’s superb. I’m going to go with what I said at the start and predict a draw.
Luke predicts: 1-1

Swansea City v Burnley (Saturday, 3pm)

Carlos Carvalhal; The king of analogies up against the worm eater in Sean Dyche. Burnley seem to be on the beach lately despite getting an impressive 1-1 draw against Manchester City last weekend whereas Carvalhal has got Swansea going on an impressive run and I can’t see it ending this weekend.
Luke predicts: 1-0

West Ham v Watford (Saturday, 3pm)

West Ham recently signed 36-year-old Patrice Evra and I’m not sure why. Has he been brought in to be the Instagram admin? It surely can’t be to cover for Arthur Masuaku. The thought of Richarlison and Deulofeu running at Zabaleta and Evra does not sound good at all. However, I am a Watford fan myself and I don’t think we’ll win simply because it’s the most Watford thing ever to smash Chelsea and then lose to West Ham.
Luke predicts: 2-1

Manchester City v Leicester City (Saturday 5.30pm)

Manchester City will want to rectify dropping two points against Burnley and surprise surprise, I think they’ll get the win against Leicester. It would be naive of me to say that Leicester won’t pose a threat against City because they may not have Mahrez, as they still have players like Gray, Albrighton and their new singing Diabate who looks impressive, not to mention Jamie Vardy. Leicester are comfortably the best of the rest for me but City will win this one.
Luke predicts: 3-1

Huddersfield Town v Bournemouth (Sunday, 12pm)

Huddersfield are seriously on the ropes at the moment and looks like their fate will be relegation. They’re up against Bournemouth who are the most in-form team in the last six games. This is a huge game for Huddersfield so they will be up for it, as will Bournemouth as a win would almost solidify them staying up. I’m going to go for a draw as Huddersfield will see it as a win and Bournemouth will see it as a must not lose.
Luke predicts: 2-2

Newcastle United v Manchester United (Sunday 14.15pm)

Newcastle for me have the worst squad in the league and are only outside of the relegation zone because of Rafael Benítez. Of course, it’s partly down to the owner not backing them. I can only see a routine Manchester United win, Alexis and Martial could have a field day up against Yedlin and Dummett.
Luke predicts 0-3

Southampton v Liverpool (Sunday 16.30pm)

Not really sure how Mauricio Pellegrino has managed to get Southampton fighting a relegation battle with the squad he has at his disposal. Southampton are usually good when it come’s to recruitment but the signing’s they made this summer and January were odd, to say the least. Hoedt who was average at best at Lazio and Carrillo from Monaco who is not very good at all. Liverpool, on the other hand, will have to try and break down this Southampton side and I think they will, just. Also, Liverpool fan’s should be encouraged by Karius’ performance against Spurs, Jamie Redknapp saying he was “diabolical” for Wanyama’s goal is absurd talk, he punched it 30 yards…
Luke predicts: 0-1

Chelsea v West Bromwich Albion (Monday 8pm)

Antonio Conte’s situation at Chelsea is bizarre. Unless he was promised players or something of that nature, he shouldn’t be surprised how Chelsea are deciding to run the club given it’s a very similar model to most Italian teams. Surely they’ll beat West Brom, who look doomed? I thought that about Bournemouth and Watford and they lost so it’s a mug’s game. If Pardew keeps West Brom up then they should build him a statue outside The Hawthorns.
Luke predicts: 2-0
