Leonardo Bonucci has arrived in Milan for his €40 million (£35.2m) subject to medical and other formalities. The 30-year-old has established himself as one of the best defenders in the world in the recent seasons. But, the alleged tension between Juventus boss Max Allegri and the rest of the squad has seen the former Chelsea target move.

Bonucci will become AC Milan’s 9th signing this summer. Milan’s new owners are aiming to bring back the glory days at San Siro and have already spent more than a £145 million on their new recruits.

Milan, which was officially taken over by a Chinese consortium, have also agreed a deal with Lazio for their Argentine Midfielder, Lucas Bigila, according to the Midfielder’s agent.

Bonucci has established himself as arguably the best in world football and has helped Juventus win 6 back-to-back Serie A titles and has also reached the final of Champions League final twice in the last 3 seasons. Bonucci made 319 appearances for Juventus in 7 seasons.
