Dominic Solanke Set To Join Liverpool From Chelsea For A Fee In The Region Of £3m

Chelsea starlet Dominic Solanke is set to sign for League rivals Liverpool after his contract expired failing to agree terms with the club with Liverpool expecting to pay around 3 million pounds in compensation for his services.

Chelsea left the young prospect out of the clubs plans due to not wanting to sign a new deal and is yet to make an appearance in the Premier League since his involvement with the first team since the 14-15 season.

A loan spell at Dutch club Vitesse soon followed having great success there scoring seven times in 25 appearances for the Dutch club.

Solanke also has to face stiff competition if he wanted to break into the first team at Chelsea with many striking options with the likes of Diego Costa and Michy Batshuayi being the obvious first two choices and also youngster Tammy Abraham making an impression at Bristol City.

This is one of many signings that Liverpool fans are hoping for as the club is going through massive changes after securing Champions League football for next season after their 4th placed finish in the Premier League.

He will join an array of talented stars at Liverpool featuring the likes of Ben Woodburn and Trent-Alexander Arnold, Klopp will probably feature him more in the under-23 squad but will also be wanting to challenge for a place in the first team looking to most likely feature in the cup competitions for Klopp’s side for the upcoming season.
