Aston Villa are preparing for life in the Sky Bet Championship after being relegated at Old Trafford by Manchester United just over a month ago. Aston Villa fans are very unimpressed by the players wearing the Aston Villa shirt, however, Jordan Ayew is more than an exception.

The Ghanaian Jordan Ayew, 24, joined The Villans from French side Lorient for an undisclosed fee, reported being in the region of £8 million. Jordan came to the Premier League alongside brother Andre Ayew, who earned himself a move to Swansea City. Both Ayew players have had a great year, unfortunately, one is destined for the second tier of English football.

The Aston Villa faithful have recently got on the backs of the Villa players, examples would include Richards, Guzan and especially Joleon Lescott, Ayew, however, has really stood out from this gutless Aston Villa team, scoring seven goals and being their top goalscorer. He is often the only one fighting, he has earned a status of being fans favourite among the Villa fans.

Ayew is one, or arguably the only one, of Aston Villa’s players who is likely to leave in the summer as he is deemed too talented for the Championship. Jordan Ayew knows this. Especially with a demand for strikers in the Premier League, he is certain to leave.image1 (1)

Jordan Ayew may be a bit too passionate, however! He faces anFA investigation after he climbed over the advertising boardings into the Watford end. With Birmingham City fan Deeney scoring two late goals to deny a third Villa win all season, I  can only guess how angry he must have been.

Despite Ayew not being enough to keep the Birmingham side safe from relegation, he has been a pleasure to watch, a player who really does play for the badge on his shirt rather than the name on the back…
