Arsenal AS Monaco Featured News Paris Saint-Germain Real Madrid Transfer Rumours

According to a variety of sources, the pursuit of 18-year-old Kylian Mbappé will increasingly heat up in the next fortnight as it is expected that the Frenchman will make a final decision regarding his future in what will set a new record as the most expensive transfer.

La Liga winners Real Madrid, North London side Arsenal, and also, French giants Paris Saint-Germain have all submitted similar bids for the player in the region of €140 million (including add-ons), whilst a new-and-improved contract offer is on the table from parent club AS Monaco. Extending on this, a variety of other European clubs have hinted at their interest in the exciting prospect, with; Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona, as prime examples.

According to sources in France, especially L’Equipe, the forward has already held encouraging, private talks with Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane over a potential summer transfer. Interestingly, according to the Telegraph, the Frenchman has also expressed an interest in joining Arsenal, despite failing to reach the Champions League, because of the appeal that working with manager Arsene Wenger has, as a result of the fantastic work he has done to improve the development of forwards such as Thierry Henry and Nicolas Anelka.

Should the highly-rated youngster decide to join the Gunners, it’d be expected for the forward to stay at the club for many years to enhance his development before potentially joining a club of the stature of Real Madrid. However, if Mbappé transfers over to Madrid, or even stay at his current club, Arsenal would be expected to pursue his teammate Thomas Lemar, alongside Olympique Lyonnais forward Alexandre Lacazette.

Regardless of the pursuit of these different clubs, the time for the 18-year-old to make his decision is running out as the respective clubs want to know where they stand as soon as possible, and whether or not they should begin work on other potential signings.
