West Ham United are reportedly preparing to review the work of Slaven Bilic and make a decision regarding his future at the end of the season, following rumours that the Croatian would be sacked by the Hammers.

The manager’s current contract expires in just over a years time, but following what many can call a poor season, Bilic could be sacked before the new season begins.

The club have certainly struggled since moving from the Boleyn for new pastures at the London Stadium, currently sitting 8 positions lower in the table in comparison to last season’s triumphs at 15th.

However, one positive to be said is that the London club look assured to have cemented their position in next year’s Premier League, with 18th-placed Swansea City currently 7 points behind. Nonetheless, the club are still not mathematically safe yet with difficult games still to come such as facing Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool at home.

A majority of Bilic’s signings such as Robert Snodgrass and Sofiane Feghouli have failed to make a real impact in the Premier League whilst the club were also dealt a major blow with the departure of Dimitri Payet.

Should Bilic get the sack, some of the reported names that West Ham will look to appoint include the likes of Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez, unemployed manager Roberto Mancini, and also, Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic.
