Transfer Talk: Mbokani To Hull?

Rumour has it Hull City are set to announce the loan signing of Dynamo Kyiv forward Dieumerci Mbokani for one season. The deal allegedly includes an option to make the move permanent if Hull City wish to do so.
Mbokani knows the style of the Premier League after a loan spell at Norwich City last season. He featured 29 times last season for the Canaries and scored 7 times, however he could not prevent Alex Neil’s side from relegation. Mbokani was also part of the Dynamo Kyiv side who won the Ukranian Premier League, however he only featured 8 times in the 2014/15 season and was discontented with his lack of first team action. Previously, Mbokani has earned the reputation of a journeyman after previously playing for Congolese side TP Mazembe, Anderlecht, Standard Liège, Monaco, Wolfsburg, Dynamo Kyiv and Norwich City.
It is unsure whether Mike Phelan, if he was to stay in charge, would play Mbokani or Abel Hernandez as the main striker. In my opinion, Abel Hernandez should be the first choice striker at the KCOM Stadium however Mbokani is a great option off the bench. Mbokani plays as more of a target man and will be the target for many crosses from Ahmed Elmohamady and Robert Snodgrass. Mbokani may not be as prolific as Abel Hernandez but he makes up for this in experience. If Hull City were to sign him, Dieumerci Mbokani would be a good signing.
