Barcelona News Paris Saint-Germain Transfer Rumours

According to Brazilian news outlet Esporte Interativo, Neymar has agreed to join Paris-Saint Germain who are ready to pay a world-record fee to secure the signature of the 25-year-old, paying his buy-out clause of €220m.

The Brazilian could be earning up to £30 million-a-year if he joins the Parisian club and would link up with the likes of Dani Alves, Thiago Silva and Lucas Moura. Both Manchester clubs are intersted also in signing the Brazilan superstar, but it seems the Ligue 1 side have the superior interest in signing the forward.

Neymar, who is under contract at Barcelona until 2021, reportedly feels unhappy at the Catalan giants due to not being able to shine under Lionel Messi’s shadow. The Ballon d’Or is reportedly a prize Neymar wishes to win, and playing alongside one of the favourites for it year in, year out, probably won’t help his chances.

Esporte Interativo say the signing could be announced in the coming weeks, however, this situation has occurred many times before, with Manchester United being involved on past occasions. Should Neymar leave Barcelona, as reported earlier this morning, Barcelona could try to bring Paulo Dybala to Spain, who is no stranger to playing with Lionel Messi has to duo lineup together for Argentina.
