Barcelona superstar, Neymar, has revealed his interest in the Premier League, insisting it ‘amazes him’.
Neymar, who has 4-years remaining on his contract in Spain, has been heavily linked with both Manchester United and Manchester City in the past, and given his recent comments, he may blow the speculation out of the water yet again.
The 24-year-old was at the fore of Barcelona’s 6-1 comeback against PSG, scoring and assisting twice in seven minutes. His Champions League performance saw him labelled as the ‘heir to the throne’ as the world’s best player by Rio Ferdinand.
However, Neymar has admitted working with Pep Guardiola or José Mourinho would be a dream for all players:
Speaking SunSport, the winger revealed:
“In the Premier League, you never know who is going to win or who will be champions, it is always a surprise.”
“It is a championship that amazes me. “I like the playing style and the teams. And who knows, someday, I would like to play at it, yes.”
“I admire Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool — these are the teams that are always there, fighting.”
“And then you have high-level coaches like Josè Mourinho and Pep Guardiola. These are coaches with whom any player would like to work with.”
Neymar has currently contributed to 32 goals this season, scoring 14 and providing 18 assists for his team-mates.
Whoever decides to tempt the Brazilian with a lucrative offer to the Premier League, they better act fast.
