Barcelona Juventus News Transfer Rumours

According to reports, Juventus has rejected a stunning €95m offer from Barcelona for Argentine, Paulo Dybala. The Spanish club have been long-time admirers of the 23-year-old and had shown interest during his time at Palermo and it now seems that new-boss Ernesto Valverde will attempt to bring the forward to the Camp Nou.

However, the Bianconeri will hold off interest from Barcelona in order to retain the services of their star-man who scored 19 goals in all competitions last season, with two coming against the Catalan club.

The story comes from a report by Corriere Dello Sport, who claim the bid from the Copa Del Rey winners was not close to matching Juventus’ valuation of the player with the bid being just short of matching Paul Pogba’s world record transfer to Manchester United by £5m.

If reports are to be believed, it’s no surprise Barcelona are hunting a marquee signing such as Dybala. In recent days, Neymar has reportedly become uncomfortable in Spain, believing he needs a move to escape being in Lionel Messi’s shadow. With Paris Saint-Germain said to be willing to match the Brazilian’s €220m release clause, the sale of the forward could fund an improved offer for Paulo Dybala, who is no stranger to playing with Lionel Messi.
