Huddersfield Town News Transfer Rumours

Newly-promoted Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner reportedly wants to make Aaron Mooy the Terriers’ record buy and is weighing up a £10 million offer for the midfielder.

Mooy was named the club’s player of the year last season as he was on loan from Manchester City, but Wagner is planning talks with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola to make the midfielder move permanently.

The Australian currently has two years remaining on his Manchester City contract.

Should a transfer go through, it would completely smash the Terriers’ former transfer record that was set following the arrival of 1860 Munich player Christopher Schindler for a reported £1.8m.
