Gary Neville Believes José Mourinho Has Confused Paul Pogba With Change Of Positions

The world’s most expensive player was heavily criticised after Manchester United’s 4-0 humiliation at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, failing to put on show the form he displayed on Thursday night against Fernabache.
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville believes the change in positions, and midfield partners, may be confusing Pogba.
Speaking on his Sky podcast, he said:
“I’d imagine he’s confused. He probably doesn’t know what’s happening. He’s been signed for such a huge fee.
“When you play him as a two in midfield, you saw at the end, he’s everywhere. They somehow have to play him in a position where he’s allowed to do that because I’m not sure he’s going to change.”
The Frenchman is yet to find his feet upon his return to Old Trafford, but has shown small glimpses of his ability. Manchester United fans have also gained a growing frustration with star striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede has failed to score chances his French asscosited Pogba has provided for him, and to make it worse, Zlatan was seen smiling and swapping shirts after a 4-0 thumbing, in which he missed a opportunity to get United back in the game.
Manchester United’s next chance to put things right is against local rivals Manchester City on Wednesday night. If they fail to win, serious questions may be asked about Mourinho’s role at the Theatre Of Dreams.
