Former Bolton Star Ivan Klasnic fighting for life

Ex-Croatian international striker and Bolton Wanderers star Ivan Klasnic has been admitted to hospital after a staggering TWO failed kidney transplants which have resulted in his kidney finally failing.
He first suffered kidney failure in 2006 while on the books at Werder Bremen and had his life saved by a donor who came in the form of his father. The striker’s body rejected the new transplant and he now requires a new donor but unfortunately, the average waiting list is approximately seven years.
Klasnic, aged just 36, retired from football in 2013, last playing for Mainz 05 in the German Bundesliga before hanging up his boots. He scored 106 career club goals as well as 12 goals in 42 appearances for his national team of Croatia.
It comes as a shock to all concerned with the former PFA Player Of The Month, who scored 24 goals for Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League before these disastrous health concerns surfaced.
We wish him a speedy, and full recovery.
