Report: Jose Mourinho Set To Be Announced As Manchester United Manager In The Coming Days

Manchester United News

Despite Manchester United’s triumph against Crystal Palace this evening, the club are set to announce former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho as manager of the club in the coming days.

Sky Sources and BBC Sport have tonight reported that Mourinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes, will fly out to England to finalise a deal with the red devils in the coming days, with the announcement set to be on Monday or Tuesday.

Many fans have been in desperation for the appointment of Mourinho and have been left scratching their heads as to why the appointment has come so late, especially after it has come on the back of an FA Cup victory for current manager Louis Van Gaal.

Despite the rumours, Louis Van Gaal’s post-match press conference spoke of the additions United needed next season, with the Dutchman describing his area of need as a ‘pacey winger’. Whether these rumours are true or not, Louis Van Gaal seems to be none the wiser about the outcome of this on-going situation.

Fans all over the world wait for confirmation by the Manchester based club, as they have done for most of the season, but will United appoint Mourinho, or have faith in current manager Louis Van Gaal in the clubs approaching future?
