Following the signing of Claudio Bravo from FC Barcelona last summer, as well as Ederson from SL Benfica last week, Joe Hart’s position in the Manchester City lineup as the first-choice goalkeeper has significantly decreased ever since the arrival of Pep Guardiola as manager.

The England number one spent last season on loan at Italian outfit Torino, but will be looking for a permanent transfer prior to the new season after admitting his tenure at the Citizens is over.

The keeper has received a fair amount of criticism for his goalkeeping ability in Serie A, as well as for his lacklustre performance against Scotland on Saturday.

The Englishman has been known to want his future sorted out as soon as possible, and would much prefer a permanent transfer rather than another loan away. Speaking to reporters he went on to say that;

“I would love to give you a poker-face answer, but I’ve got nothing at the moment,”

“I’d love to be withholding information about my future, but I don’t have the information to withhold. My personal situation is interesting and patience is going to have to be the key. I’m lucky that I’ve got this great distraction of being involved with my country and then we will see.”
