Twitter Reacts To Liverpool’s 3-3 Draw With Watford
Posted by Jordan Clarke | Published on August 12, 2017
In the Premier League’s second game of the season, Liverpool drew 3-3 with Watford after a late controversial equaliser from Miguel Britos grabbed Marco Silva’s side a point after taking the lead twice in the first-half.
Goals from Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah were enough to level the score for Liverpool, but the Reds poor defending at set-pieces cost Jürgen Klopp’s side from clinching all three points.
The six-goal thriller made it thirteen goals in just 180 minutes of Premier League football since its return on Friday night, giving its adoring fans a taste of why the competition is loved by millions around the world. Neutrals had a splendid time watching today’s fixture at Vicarage Road, but for Liverpool fans, it was perhaps a taste of what’s to come after Klopp’s lack of defensive bolstering during the transfer window so far.
As always, Twitter never failed to provide some entertainment before and after the full-time whistle. Here’s some of the best reaction from Liverpool supporters and those wanting to laugh at the Merseyside club took to Twitter to comment on the second game of the Premier League 2017/2018 campaign.

Following that defensive display, Liverpool have just offered £200 million plus Coutinho for Virgil Van Djik.

To score against Liverpool, you don't have to construct any kind of attacking move. Lump it into the box and it'll go in somehow. Too easy.

If you're ahead of the ball when it's played, you're offside. Direction of pass irrelevant.
— Raphael Honigstein (@honigstein) August 12, 2017
Klopp: "The third goal was offside. That’s unlucky for us. We had enough chances to score another goal."
