Jamie Carragher Slams Jürgen Klopp’s Tactics As Liverpool’s Winless Run Continues

Jamie Carragher has slammed his former side as Liverpool continued their winless run in the Premier League this year. The reds have won just once in their last ten games in all competitions, which is hugely worrying for Liverpool fans as pundits and neutrals deemed the club has the best bet to challenge Chelsea for the title not long ago.
With Chelsea overcoming Arsenal by three goals to one this afternoon, it leaves Liverpool trailing Antonio Conte’s side by 13 points and after being knocked out of both the FA Cup and EFL Cup, it seems a top 4 challenge has made itself Liverpool’s main aim for the remaining part of this season.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes changes are needed within the side and believes players playing out of position isn’t the ingredients for a top 4 side.
The 39-year-old said:
“If the form Liverpool are in continues in the next few weeks, the chances of top four will be gone very quickly. It’s not rocket science now how you beat Liverpool.”
“There’s things in this Liverpool team that at times you kid yourself that it’s ok. Lucas at centre-back, Milner left-back.”
“People will say they’ve played the top teams. In the next few games they face Tottenham and Arsenal but it’s the lower teams that cause problems.”
“The changes from the bench needs to come a lot quicker. They’ve taken far too long.”
“The manager needs to come up with something different. A new system,” Carragher added.
