Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has revealed he would love to play in the Premier League one day, with Liverpool being a club he is a fan of.

The 22-year-old has been a key figure at the French club since the arrival of Unai Emery, making 39 appearances in all competitions last season.

Liverpool, who recently acquired the services of RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keïta for next season, are fighting a battle to keep Emre Can at the club, with the German playing hardball during contract negotiations. The acquisition of Rabiot would be a welcome addition for Jürgen Klopp, though the Frenchman insists he’s happy in France for the meantime.

In an interview with RMC Sport, Rabiot revealed: “I think I would like to experience something else [outside France]. There are a lot of very good championships, it’s also very rewarding to go elsewhere, but for the moment I’m happy at PSG”

“I would love to play in the Premier League, not necessarily one club in particular, even though I was very fond of Liverpool when I was young.”

“I can understand that my ambition, my impatience can annoy some people. But the main thing is that it has been useful to me, today I am here, sometimes you have to dare to say things.”

Rabiot has been pursued by both North London clubs in the past and his recent comments make it seem like he’s set his sights on the Premier League.
