Troy Deeney To Move To The Champions Of England?

The Watford captain has been linked with a move to Leicester City after having such a successful season at Watford. Deeney, who has scored 12 Premier League goals this season, has impressed for the Hornets after taking over as captain.
The current champions of England will be trying to bring in new signings to defend their Premier League trophy, they have already started their defence with an £18 million bid, however Watford are poised to reject that bid due to Deeney being such an important player in this Watford side who will more than likely be fighting for survival next season.
Arsenal were weighing up a move for the Watford skipper earlier in the season after Troy Deeney hit wonderful form, but Watford are adamant that Deeney will not be sold for anything below the sum of £20 million. A sum Arsenal were not willing to pay.
Deeney will also need persuading to leave his club as he is settled at Watford after spending 6 years there and is a big presence in the dressing room. I am sure to join Leicester would be intriguing, but he may not start as Leicester already have Jamie Vardy and Okazaki.
Quique believes also that Deeney is incredibly important to Watford saying, “Troy Deeney is important to Watford,” said Sanchez Flores “He is part of the soul of this team. But I think I’ve said it before, nobody is irreplaceable here. However, Deeney is important because he knows perfectly how Watford feels. He is one of the main players of this team. The idea of the club is to grow and improve. When you add good players to the very good players you have, it will be an excellent mix.”
Troy Deeney has had a good relationship with several Watford strikers over the years including Vydra, Ighalo and Sordell. Can he do the same with England international Jamie Vardy?
