Tshibola to Villa – all you need to know.

Highly-rated amongst his colleagues, Aaron Tshibola looks set to complete a move to the Midlands.
The 21-year-old travelled to Villa Park yesterday, 4 July, to discuss personal terms ahead of a proposed move to fellow Championship outfit, Aston Villa.
Reading boss, Jaap Stam made it clear to the board that he didn’t want to sell, but the midfielders interested in a move forced the Royals to reluctantly accept the £5 million offer.
£5 million may seem exorbitant for a 21-year-old who hasn’t been a regular feature for Reading, but providing he stays fit, it may be the bargain of the window.
Former Royals boss, Steve Clarke is now assistant manager at Aston Villa and provided Tshibola with his full Reading debut and looks to have won the race for his signature.
After his loan spell at Hartlepool United, Clarke saw the youngsters potential and handed him a place in the first team and Villa fans will soon see why.
Aaron Tshibola’s physicality will help dominate the midfield and perhaps fill the hole that was left by former Captain, Fabian Delph.
People often define him as a defensive midfielder, but I’m sure Reading fans will tell you he can offer a whole lot more than that.
His never-ending bouts of energy ensure he can glide from box-to-box, can threaten in the attacking third and given time, he can be a danger from range too, a danger that’ll be sorely missed in Berkshire.
There’s no doubt that Aston Villa have aquired the services of a superb talent, and if Roberto Di Matteo is to fire the Villans back to the top flight, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Tshibola at the heart of it all.
