As the 2017/2018 season approaches, we’re looking to expand our team of writers in order to deliver a higher frequency of insightful articles within European football. Just over two months ago, we opened our doors to other European leagues aside from the Premier League and we now begin the search for European football writers. Ligue 1, Bundesliga & Serie A are those we aim to target most, but other leagues are also welcome.

Before reading the requirements, we inform you that all roles are non-paid and this will not change. If you do not write, we are also looking for designers and if you wish to apply, please attach examples of your work in your email.

What’s The Deal?

We’re looking for writers above the age of seventeen with experience of writing before, whether that be at a previous website or not, any pieces of work by a requesting writer would be beneficial in our selection process. Each writer is expected to write multiple feature articles a week without delay, submitting work at the best of their ability.

Writers must have excellent grammar and creativity in order to provide our readers with the best viewing experience and you will have guidance on this through editorial guidelines we have created. Those who have experience at established websites and provide evidence of those articles are likely to be chosen over someone without that high-profile experience.

Writers can contact us on the email address contact@fromthestands.co.uk but be patient, we will get back to you. Writers are encouraged to have a laptop instead of writing on a phone or tablet, this is to ensure the quality of the piece is at its highest for our readers. Ability to gain interest in your articles would also be a positive, however, this is not a requirement as sometimes the best writers can be those not spotted yet.

What Should I Include In My Email?

Writers should include a biography about themselves, including their name, age, location, favoured league, experience and why they want to write for us. Writers should also include 2-3 pieces of previous work if possible and anything worthy of telling us. If your email is not well presented or lacks effort, it won’t be considered.
