Ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, Diego Costa has praised former blues boss José Mourinho for improving him as a player.

Costa, who’s enjoyed a free-scoring season under Antonio Conte, is set to lead the line on Sunday as Chelsea look to maintain their form as they creep closer to the Premier League title. The Spaniard has scored 17 goals in the Premier League this season and has provided 5 assists to his team-mates.

The 28-year-old won the Premier League title in his first season at Chelsea, as José Mourinho’s side won the double, with Costa scoring 20 goals. He now aims to win the title for the second time since his arrival in England, under the guidance of Antonio Conte. Speaking to Sky Sports, Costa has insisted José Mourinho is ‘one of the best around’ and thanks him for improving him as a player.
