Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriquez has spoken out on his future after falling out of favour under Zinedine Zidane in Spain. Rodriquez, now 25, first announced himself whilst playing for Colombia in the 2014 World Cup and later joined Madrid for a fee of around €80m (£65m). The Colombian is now targetted by multiple clubs across the world, but high-flying Chelsea are said to be the most interested in landing his signature.

Speaking on his future, Rodriquez said:

“I cannot guarantee that I will stay in Madrid. I have a few offers and seven days to think about it. I am happy here, but want more playing time. I feel a small amount of bitterness for not having played the final, but am still very happy for the victory. It is the fifteenth title in my career.”
