Arsène Wenger Responds To Ian Wright’s Comments Over His Future

Ahead of Arsenal’s successful 2-0 win against Hull City earlier today, speculation in regards to Arsène Wenger’s future at the club gained attention as club legend Ian Wright hinted the Frenchman’s days as manager were “coming to an end”.
Exclusively speaking to BBC5Live last night, Wright revealed:
“I was with him for a few hours last night’, ‘I got the impression that that’s it, he mentioned it when we were talking last night that he was coming to an end. I’ve never heard him say that’.
The revelation grabbed the headlines all over social media headlines due to the prospect of Wenger finally ending his career as manager of Arsenal FC after 20 years. Many fans began to pay tribute to the Frenchman, whilst others were quick to express their anger or excitement of the news.
Arsène Wenger, however, through another spanner in the works regarding his future, following his press-conference after beating Hull City earlier today:
“I could be tired because I get up early in the morning and I finish late at night so sometimes I am tired, but I didn’t give any indication about my future.”
“We had a little dinner before but it was not the two of us. We were not alone. We were with 4 or 5 people. I appreciate very much that you want me to rest, absolutely, but I’m not ready for that.”
