Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be watching Sergio Agüero’s situation at Manchester City, as reports suggest he is becoming unhappy at the Etihad.
Spanish news outlet Don Balon broke the report, suggesting Agüero is considering his options after Pep Guardiola dropped the Argentine for games against both Everton & Barçelona. Despite it being a cup game, Guardiola also dropped Agüero for the derby against Manchester United.
Chelsea are said to be the most interested in Agüero’s situation, but it’s unlikely Manchester City would sell to another Premier League club. Although, with Antoine Griezmann on the priority list of many top clubs in Europe, it begs the question as to whether Manchester City could bag a swap deal for the Frenchman, tempting Agüero to re-join his old side, Atletico Madrid.
It’s highly unlikely Pep Guardiola will sell Manchester City’s main-man, after all, the Spaniard publicly spoke out about his intentions, saying:
“I want to make it clear I am very happy with Sergio and hope he can stay at the club for a long time. He is a very special player and we cannot forget how many goals scored here.”
