Arsenal In Search Of A New Shirt Sponsor As Fly Emirates Decide Against Renewing

In a surprising turn of events, North-London based Arsenal Football Club are reportedly in the hunt for a new shirt sponsor, despite having two years remaining on their current “Fly Emirates” deal.

The airline, who many claim are disillusioned with football, are also expected not to renew their £10 million-a-year FA Cup partnership once it expires. Whenever the club do find a new sponsorship deal, it appears likely that the airline will only attain the rights of the name of the stadium, that is contracted until 2028.

This could spark bad news for the Gunners, who will force to compete for sponsorships alongside many other teams as well as other sports too. In regards to football, the club will be competing with main rivals Tottenham, who are looking at candidates to gain the naming rights of their new ground. Also, the England football team are also said to be after a new sponsorship deal.

In regards to other sports, some of the competition Arsenal face comes from the likes of the domestic cricket Test, the Rugby Premiership, and also the Six Nations.
